Joanna Cohn

Joanna Cohn is a printmaker, specialising in etching, woodcut and taku-hon techniques, alongside her painting practice. She is currently studying MA Fine Art at Central St Martins.
Cohn has exhibited her work widely, including at the Society of Women Artists annual exhibition, Woolwich Contemporary Print Prize and The Royal Geographical Society, Ecologies of Change exhibition. In 2021 was awarded the Nasdaq Student Art Prize.
Recently, Cohn has been selected to be one of The World Reimagined Emerging Artists and will be part of a ground breaking national arts education project to transform how we understand the Transatlantic Trade in Enslaved Africans and its impact on the world.
Cohn describes the purpose of her work is to “invite people to connect with the Earth, and our environment. To take a moment to consider our place on the planet at this moment in time.”
