Henrietta Stuart with her dog Bella at Wimbledon Art Studios

Henrietta Stuart: Collecting Art Prints

In this episode, Iā€™m delighted to welcome London-based painter Henrietta Stuart to the podcast. Since graduating in Fine Art from Newcastle University in 1988, Henrietta has been painting striking abstract landscapes in oils, inspired by her surroundings; from the West Coast of Scotland to Sri Lanka. She spent many years living in the south of France before returning to the UK and taking up a studio at Wimbledon Art Studios, which is where I met her in 2017 when I was was working there.

Twice a year, Wimbledon Art Studios holds a 4-day open studios event, with over 150 participating artists and makers. The Wimbledon Art Fair is coming up on the 18th - 21st November 2021. It's a fantastic opportunity to discover and meet new artists and was really where my own collecting journey began - a must-see for new collectors. In this interview, Henrietta talks about the value of these events for both the artists and visitors, and shares her top tips for adding limited edition art prints to your collection.
